What makes The Bridal Studio special?
The Bridal Studio provides an intimate cozy shopping destination to give brides the space they need to make a stress-free decision on their wedding day look. We provide: wedding gowns, earrings, veils, and hair accessories. We also offer formal gown steaming services and wedding gown preservation kits. We provide preferred wedding vendors to any bride that inquires. We love to collaborate with other businesses and support others via social media!
Why Corktown?
The 2000 Brooklyn building used to be a brush factory and more recently, artists in residence lofts. The building has great bones, tons of natural light and paint speckled original floors. I fell in love with the space and I think it is a great place to start my business. The community has been wonderful as well, I love referring customers to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc throughout Corktown. As I researched places to open my business, I was surprised to see only three other bridal shops with Detroit zip codes and no one really downtown at all. Corktown was the perfect match for my business goals; my husband Dan and I are excited to be a part of this business district.
How has the CBA impacted your business?
I am a new CBA member but it has been great to meet new people and others that are in business in the area--excited to stay connected and learn more, adding any value I can along the way!
What are some goals or upcoming announcements for The Bridal Studio?
National Bridal Summer Event is all throughout July. We are also excited to go to Chicago for National Bridal Market at the end of August. We will be featuring a Made in the USA bridal designer in September. Check out our social media for more details.
